Race #11 – The G3 Eatontown – 1 1/16 miles on the turf – 4:47 pm Analysis / #6 – Princess Grace / #2 – Fluffy Socks /#7 – Lemista

#6 Princess Grace is a late runner from the Michael Stidham barn coming off a 6 month layoff. She has been a beaten favorite the last two efforts and Florent Geroux is a big plus in the irons today. The barn wins 21% off 90 day layoffs and she fires well coming off the bench. #2 Fluffy Socks is a stalker in the hands of Samy Camacho. This is her 2nd start off the layoff and her dam Cryptic Message is a stakes winner with 3 starters, 3 winners, and 2 turf winners. #7 Lemista is a late runner by Raven’s Pass for Chad Brown and John Velasquez. She is bred to relish the sod and makes her 2nd start off a nine month layoff from the races. Her back class could put her right in the winner’s circle today.

Race #13 – The G3 Monmouth Stakes – 1 1/8 on the turf – 5:47 pm Analysis / #3 – Public Sector / #6 – Sacred Life / #2 – Tax

#3 Public Sector is a late runner for the Chad Brown barn with John Velasquez in the saddle. He drops in class and is regally bred to enjoy the green by sire Kingsman (GB). The class relief should have him right there when the real running begins. #6 Public Sector makes his 3rd start off a break for the Chad Brown barn with Manny Franco in the irons. He is 1 for 1 at Monmouth and has faced some tough foes in the past. #2 Tax hails from the Danny Gargan barn with Joe Bravo back in New Jersey again. He should be forwardly placed and Bravo knows the track better than most when the real running begins.

Race #14 – The G3 Salvatore Mile – 1 mile – 6:15 pm Analysis / #3 – Hot Rod Charlie /#1 – Mind Control / #4 – Shirl’s Speight

#3 Hot Rod Charlie is a son of Oxbow coming off a two month break after running in Dubai for Doug O’Neill and Flavien Prat. He may improve at the shorter distance today and should be right on the pace under the patient hands of Mike Smith. #1 Mind Control hails from the Todd Pletcher barn with John Velasquez in the saddle. He is 2 for 2 ITM at Monmouth and makes his 3rd off the shelf where the trainer scores at a 24% win clip. #4 Shirl’s Speight hails from the Roger Attfield barn with Emma Jayne Wilson in the saddle. The barn wins 19% with graded stakes and his last race was a tough one that needs to be dismissed. He’s a long range closer and should be in the mix at the wire.
