#6 Gordian Knot is a late runner in the hands of Luca Panici for Guadalupe Preciado. He comes off a three month break and the barn wins 34% for nongraded stakes. His sire Social Inclusion wins 17% first time on the turf. Sharp works have him ready to fire off the bench. #5 Dr. Orsean is a speedy son of Kitten’s Joy for Christophe Clement and Jose Ortiz. He comes off a 51 day break and the rider and trainer are 2 for 2 the past two weeks. #4 Crispy Cat hails from the barn of Jorge Delgado and Paco Lopez. 2nd off the layoff shipping in from Wolverhampton and just missed by a neck last out. The rider switch may do the trick today.

#2 Case is a son of Sky Mesa for Jonathon Thomas and Jose Ortiz. He is turning back from 8f and the sprint may fit his liking. He is 2 for 2 ITM at GP and gets 2nd Lasix and a beaten favorite effort last out. #3 Etnico hails from the barn of Jorge Delgado and Javier Castellano. He cuts back 110 yards and should be a major player at the top of the lane. He was a beaten favorite last out and looks to turn the tables. #1 Straighonahighnote is a first timer by Girvin and he wins 20% with his first time runners. His dam Shelby’s Song has 2 winners from 3 starters. Saffie Joseph brings his colt to post with a rail draw and Patrick Husbands in the irons.
Race #10 – The $100,000 Melody of Colors – 5f on turf – 5:06 pm

#7 My Sweet Affair is a late running daughter of Twirling Candy for George Weaver. She was an impressive off the pace winner at first asking and moved up the ladder winning 13% off the 2nd time outing. Weaver is winning 21% at the meet and looks to have a solid gal going to post. #8 Flor de Sombra is a speedster shipping in from Penn National shooting for three in a row. Jose Ortiz has the call and with sharp work and a trainer who wins 34% with nongraded stakes, she has a solid shot. #5 Sassy Nature is a speedy filly for Jack Sisterson and Julien Leparoux in the saddle. Her sire Straight Fire wins 31% with 1st time turf runners and he did not disappoint last out first time on the sod. Looking to make it two straight, and will be tough on the front end.
