Race #10 – The G-2 Gulfstream Park Mile – 1 mile – 3:33 pm

#7 Charge It is a stalking son of Tapit for Todd Pletcher and Luis Saez. 2nd start off the layoff and he is 4 for 4 ITM at GP. If you toss out his Derby effort, you’ll see a major danger today for the win. #6 Endorsed hails from the Mike Maker barn with Tyler Gaffalione in the saddle. He is 7 for 8 ITM at GP and seeks his third straight win. He’ll be looking for a solid stalking trip. #4 Simplification goes to post for Antonio Sano with Jose Ortiz in the driver’s seat. He should be right off the pace and Ortiz wins 22% with route runners with speed.

 

Race #12 – The G-2 Davona Dale – 1 mile – 4:37 pm

#3 Red Carpet Ready hails from the Rusty Arnold barn with Luis Saez aboard. She’ll be on the lead and sports a bullet work under her belt. She gets an additional furlong and the barn wins 15% going a route first out. #5 Undervalued Asset is a speedy gal for Chad Brown in the hands of Irad Ortiz in the saddle. 2nd off the layoff yields a 29% win clip for the barn. The trainer wins 34% going a sprint to a route. Ortiz has been red hot and scores 23% with speedsters. #7 Lynx is a late running filly for David Carlos and Edgard Zayas. She is 5 for 5 ITM at GP mainly against Florida company.

 

Race #13 – The G-2 Mac Diarmada – 1 3/8 on the turf – 5:09 pm

#10 Value Engineering hails from the Mike Maker barn with Jose Ortiz in the irons. This son of Lemon Drop Kid is 2/2 ITM at GP and sports a solid late kick. Last out in the G3 McKnight was a good step forward to bigger and better things. #2 Master Piece goes to post for Saffie Joseph and Tyler Gaffalione aboard. He exits the G1 Pegasus World Cup Turf and will come calling when they square off at the top of the stretch. #1 Highest Honors draws the rail spot for Chad Brown and Irad Ortiz in the saddle. This son of Tapit is 1 for 1 at GP and comes off a three month layoff with a solid morning work.

 

Race #14 – The G-2 Fountain of Youth – 1 1/16 – 5:43 pm

BetPTC.com Analysis / #4 – Forte / #6 – Blazing Sevens / #3 – Shadow Dragon

#4 Forte hails from the Todd Pletcher barn with Irad Ortiz in the saddle. This son of Violence is shooting for his 4th straight win and Ortiz wins 28% with late runners going a route. This is his 1st effort since the G1 BC Juvenile with an impressive win. #6 Blazing Sevens goes to post for Chad Brown and Joel Rosario with a sharp closing son of Good Magic. This is his first start of 2023 and he has tried to run down Forte a few times in the past. Today he tries to turn the tables and gun him down in the final furlong. #3 Shadow Dragon is a New York bred coming in for Bill Mott and Jose Ortiz. He circled 5 wide running late last out and needs to keep moving upward to seal the deal today.
